Chowan Animal Hospital knows that nutrition plays a critical role in your pet’s overall health and well-being. Different pets require different foods, and the vast amount of choices available today can make it difficult to know what is the right choice, as well as the right amount, that your pet needs.

Our trained staff is able guide you to the right diets for your dogs or cats that allow them to be happy, healthy and active. We can help you figure out how much food your pets needs each day, determine whether you are over- or under-feeding your pet, and help you make sense of  nutrition labels. Your pet's nutritional needs change based on their age, activity level, and medical needs, and Chowan Animal Hospital is here to help.
