Paradise Pet Resort is our all-inclusive boarding (day and night) facility designed exclusively for dogs and cats. Founded by Dr. Christian Ford and Dr. Ruston Howell, co-owners of Chowan Animal Hospital, our pet resort provides a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment where pets can relax and play while their owners are away. Our facility is conveniently located less than a mile off the main eastern North Carolina Route 17.

Once your pet's stay is booked, please complete our Boarding Agreement form before check-in to ensure a smooth visit. If your pet is staying in one of our upgraded suites, you can check in on them anytime through our live webcams.

- Optional TLC package ($7.50 per day) that includes individual play time with a staff member daily with pictures texted to your mobile device

- Feline Tower ($40.67 per night; 2nd cat $16.64): Three living units combined vertically via portals allowing for exercise and multiple level resting options
- Feline Townhouse ($33.03 per night; 2nd cat $16.64): Two living units that can be combined via a pass through portal
- Feline Condo ($23.81 per night): One living unit consisting of a base level and a loft for resting
- All housing units in a feline dedicated room isolated from canine boarding

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Hours
Our standard hours for pick-ups and drop-offs are: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM–11:30 AM. Please note that check-out times must be scheduled in advance.
For guests in our Luxury and Premier suites, extended pick-up hours are available:
- Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, 3:00 PM–4:00 PM, 7:00 PM–8:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM–10:00 AM, 3:00 PM–4:00 PM, 7:00 PM–8:00 PM
